About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to lead and coordinate humanitarian initiatives aimed at supporting vulnerable children across challenging environments. The role is based in the Solomon Islands and will work closely with local teams and international partners to deliver impactful programs.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, implement and monitor projects that address child poverty and wellbeing.
- Coordinate with field staff, donors and community stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Prepare project documentation, reports and budgets, ensuring compliance with internal policies and donor requirements.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on schedule and within scope.
- Facilitate community engagement activities, occasionally contributing personal time without additional compensation.
Required profile
- Demonstrated commitment to serving vulnerable populations, preferably in a faith‑based context.
- Strong organizational and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing conditions in remote locations.
- Willingness to embrace the principle of “walking the extra mile,” including voluntary community work when needed.
