About the role
The CARA Project Manager will lead community‑focused initiatives under the guidance of facilitators, preparing actionable plans for target groups and ensuring the effective use of social empowerment tools. This position supports World Vision’s mission to help vulnerable children by strengthening community capacities in the Solomon Islands.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with facilitators to design and implement plans with target community groups related to project activities.
- Lead the development, adaptation, and deployment of social and community‑empowering tools.
- Produce and manage IEC (Information, Education, Communication) materials required for the NBS project.
- Monitor the utilization of tools and materials to ensure alignment with project goals.
Required profile
- Local applicant residing in the Solomon Islands.
- Experience in community development, project coordination, or related fields.
- Ability to work collaboratively with facilitators and community members.
