Manufacturing Strategy Lead (Sales)

About the role

Inertia is seeking a Manufacturing Strategy Lead to help OEM customers mitigate risk and scale hardware production across North America and APAC. The role blends business development, supply‑chain insight, and technical credibility to guide clients through cost pressures, geopolitical uncertainty, and supplier challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to operations, engineering, and supply‑chain leaders, recommending strategies to reduce costs and improve resilience.
• Promote Inertia’s hybrid manufacturing model as a strategic solution for scalable, compliant production.
• Engage OEM customers on high‑stakes initiatives, addressing tariff impacts, supplier failures, and scaling requirements.
• Collaborate with internal multidisciplinary teams to align engineering, pilot builds, and volume manufacturing.

Required profile

• 5–10+ years of B2B sales, technical business development, or customer‑facing experience in manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, or industrial solutions.
• Proven ability to communicate complex hardware production realities to senior stakeholders.
• Experience working with OEMs and navigating global supply‑chain dynamics.
