Project Manager (Civil Engineering)

About the role

Surbanajurong is seeking a Project Manager to lead civil engineering projects for its Solomon Islands branch. The role involves overseeing the design and construction supervision of large‑scale infrastructure, particularly high‑voltage transmission lines, ensuring compliance with international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary consultant team to produce detailed designs and supervise construction of major civil works.
• Manage contract administration under FIDIC conditions, ensuring quality assurance and adherence to contractual obligations.
• Coordinate high‑voltage transmission line construction, maintenance and inspection activities.
• Monitor project progress, budgets and schedules, and report to senior management.

Required profile

• Degree in civil engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a team leader on at least three large, multi‑disciplinary construction projects.
• Hands‑on experience with high‑voltage transmission line projects.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
