Team Leader

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Team Leader to drive stakeholder engagement, capacity building and technical planning for solid waste management projects in Honiara. You will join Surbana Jurong’s multidisciplinary team to design, assess and implement sustainable solutions that create a positive impact.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare stakeholder engagement strategies and oversee workshops, stakeholder mapping and site visits.
• Lead tools and fieldwork planning, institutional capacity and readiness assessments, and data integration with GIS mapping.
• Conduct community structure identification, assess governance and financial capacity of community groups, and develop support plans for solid waste management.
• Perform gap analysis, prioritize interventions, and support feasibility studies, preliminary and detailed engineering designs.
• Screen technical and financial options, align projects with engineering, safeguards and ADB requirements, and define institutional, O&M and governance arrangements.
• Develop costing, phasing, packaging of interventions, implementation strategies and institutional strengthening plans, and consolidate feasibility packages.
