Partnership Manager – Multiple Roles (Solomon Islands)

About the role

The Partnership Manager role supports the Strongim Bisnis program, an economic development initiative aimed at increasing opportunities for women, youth and people with disabilities in the Solomon Islands. The position is open to Solomon Islands nationals or residents with a valid work permit and involves provincial travel.

Key responsibilities

• Identify constraints and opportunities for inclusive economic growth and negotiate partnerships with entrepreneurs, companies, business associations and the public sector.
• Establish and manage partnership agreements, perform due diligence, monitor performance and ensure compliance with Strongim Bisnis and ASI policies.
• Oversee delivery of initiatives against work plans and budgets, manage suppliers and procurement, and handle invoicing.
• Conduct research and produce reports that inform strategic direction, considering the political, socio‑cultural and business environment.
• Support other Partnership Managers and interns with agreement management, issue resolution and cross‑cutting safeguards such as GEDSI, safeguarding and environmental considerations.

Required profile

• Completed or in‑progress degree in economics, business, marketing, public policy or development studies.
• Experience in sectors such as horticulture, tourism, timber, seaweed, financial services or private‑sector development, including developing business plans and financial projections.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Commitment to gender equality, youth empowerment, disability inclusion and Do No Harm principles.
