Finance and Corporate Services Director

About the role

World Vision seeks a senior leader to provide strategic oversight of Finance, Supply Chain, IT and Administration for its Solomon Islands and Vanuatu Field Office. Reporting to the National Director, the role drives financial strategy, risk management and operational excellence across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead finance, supply chain, IT and administration functions, ensuring compliance with World Vision policies and donor requirements.
• Advise senior leadership on budgeting, resource allocation, enterprise risk and grant stewardship.
• Develop and retain high‑calibre staff through onboarding, coaching, technical training and succession planning.
• Oversee procurement governance, supplier contracts and emergency response readiness.
• Manage grant acquisition, multi‑donor funding streams and sub‑grant monitoring.
• Maintain internal control environment and financial systems, including Sun Systems, ProVision and GEMS.
• Ensure statutory, tax and regulatory compliance in both countries and lead internal, statutory and donor audits.
• Champion safeguarding, PSEA compliance and ethical standards across all corporate services.

Required profile

• Proven senior finance leadership experience in a complex, multi‑country humanitarian or development context.
• Strong track record of building resilient teams, driving financial literacy and managing enterprise risk.
